Expertise in repair and modernization

From the light armoured weapon carrier Wiesel 1 to the main battle tank Leopard 2, from the two-axle Wolf to the four-axle GTK Boxer: FFG is always the right contact when it comes to the repair or maintenance of wheeled and tracked vehicles of the German Bundeswehr!

In our various specialist groups for the repair of vehicle systems, we not only have the necessary special tools, but also decades of know-how.

Repair depth and breadth

If necessary, most defective assemblies such as engines, transmissions, final drives etc., as well as axles, can be sent directly to the relevant specialist departments for repair. This not only reduces repair costs, but also ensures a short system turn around time. In these specialist departments, we also have numerous test benches on which the assemblies can be precisely tested for functionality.

Always up to date

Overall, FFG has an extensive infrastructure for the repair of vehicle systems. Even complex all-wheel drive vehicles such as the GTK Boxer can be tested on our own brake test stand. In addition, we have a steep slope, test drive track, wading tank, welding shop, blasting and painting booths and much more for optimum repairs.
