FFG's origins go right back to 1872. Firstly sailing ships were built, followed by steamers.
As success came, the company grew and with it, the willingness to invest in new pioneering areas of technology.
For the courier/express/parcel sector, FFG has developed a solid aluminium body which has set new standards under the name of "Flensburg box body". The Flensburger box body soon became successful thanks to its economic efficiency, long service life and design which is ideally tailor-made to the users.

For our administration, sales and design activities, we employ staff with business and technical training, graduates from the universities and technical colleges. In the production division staff have usually complete industrial training for metal working, surface treatment and electrical engineering.
